DOPE

DOPE: Just recently I have been thinking about the word seriously, you might be using a word often and you might not know the true meaning of the word. So i decided to check the meaning of the word DOPE.

First of all DOPE is an internet slang and I checked the urban dictionary: it stated that people who do not do drugs call marijuana dope. people who do marijuana call heroin dope. What a confusion for the definition of dope even when it is so glaring that hard drugs, soft drugs, codeine mixed with stuffs and plenty other things could be called dope.
If  I am allowed to over emphasize and if the internet can probably intentionally refuse to give full meaning of dope instead, meandering around it then, I could say dope is any stuff people take to change something about themselves.

Obviously there are many reasons people want to take dope. An entertainer will tell you it enables him to sing or perform at its best, to fit in, to relax, to relieve boredom, to seem grown up, to rebel, to experiment.

They think drugs are the solution. but eventually, the drugs become the problem.

Difficult as it maybe to face one's problem, the consequence of drug use are always worse than the problem one is trying to solve with them. The real answer is to get facts and not to take drugs in the first place.

HOW DO DRUGS WORK?

Drugs are essentially poison. The amount taken determines the effect. If you remember your elementary inequality graph of +10 and -10 when u take drugs it takes you high to plus 10 and when the resultant effect occurs it does not bring u back to zero it takes you to minus 10.

A small amount can act as a stimulant(it speed you up), a greater amount acts as a sedative(it slows you down) and an even larger amount acts as poisons, when you take too much, it kills. This is true of any drug. Only the amount needed to achieve differs.

 Many dopes have another liability, they directly affects the mind, distort the user's perception of what is happening around him or her, as a result the person's action maybe odd, inappropriate and even destructive.

DOPE LINKS DIFFERENT KINDS OF SENSATIONS, the desirable ones with the unwanted, so while providing short-term help in the relief of pain, they also wipe out ability, alertness and distort one's thinking.

TRUTHS ABOUT DOPE:

IT BLURS THE MIND: normally when a person remembers something, the mind is very fast and information comes to him quickly but drugs blur memory, causing you blank spots and when the person tries hard to think and the person ends up with migraine.

IT DESTROYS CREATIVITY: it is a lie when they tell us a bit of dope could make you creative. I did not need a single dope to write good stories, if musicians truly believe in themselves, they will know they can perform with swag in their own different kinda way that is original, not through the help of dope.

IT DESTROY YOUR ORGANS: probably you take drugs to perform better, act better, my dear, it all affects your reproductive organs, your lungs, your kidneys and many more.... it eats the organs gradually

I like to say this here that I am doing this article as a result of the plenty happenings; Whitney, Amy Winehouse and MAJEK FASHEK misbehavior and he is not yet recovered. Many more artiste who indulge into this act and youths who think they are enjoying their lives. I must say without no remorse, if you continue in this act of doping you will die young and snuff out our destinies.

I think people should be educated about dope and its effect. Blogs and other platforms of information should be readily available with details about doping and its effect. Though our role models who are suppose to lead by examples are the ones influencing the youth, but not withstanding, the truth is getting clearer and when more people talk about it I think there would be a difference.

UZIELALA'S BIRTHDAY

Today is another day to be merry, because it is UZOR OSIMKPA'S bornday. She calls herself  "Uzielala" alias Jane Bond.

 She believes she is strong and in fact she has proved that several times.

She was 2nd to the last girl standing, in the just concluded Gulder Ultimate Search (GUS) season 9 2012, and also she is a famous face in Tinsel.  I am sure she will be celebrating and I am looking forward to where the parry will be.

HANDSOME & PWEETY WEEKEND

In retrospect to the valentine season. Manifold International Church, Finicky Hall, beside Oando filling station, Iwaya road, Yaba, Lagos, is bringing together, HANDSOME AND PWEETY presents HOLYWOOD LOVE.

 It is going to be anchored by Pastor KUNLE OSUNKUNLE of the fountain of life church, he took over from the famous Bimbo Odukoya.

HAPPY VALENTINE

Happy VALENTINE, as cliche as it may sound, that greeting has lost its meaning and value, maybe because it is associated with a lot of intangible concepts and tangible benefits, that are hard to relate with. Vincent Van Goh will always say love is something eternal, it may change but the essence remains constant. There is no way we will talk about valentine, without talking about love. I and my friend were discussing and he told me, he wanted to get a teddy bear for his girlfriend, in a bid to ask her can I be your val or he could probably send her a cake saying can I pamper you on the 14th of February.

 All these moves are just to show how much we feel for someone, especially on the day of valentine. I also have a friend that believes valentine is a day for side chicks, since everyday should be for your spouse, so you could run away on the 14th, switch off your phone and wait till 15th when the whole euphoria dies down, you initiate the call, bring along plenty chocolates and make up sex would do the magic ( crazy i guess).

Another of my friend believes that his ideal valentine should be a girl presenting him with a blackberry Z10, since before now it has always been the guy doing the stuffs and the girl just receives (loll). If you must know approximately 150millions of valentine card exchange hand, making valentine the second most popular card-sending holiday after Christmas holiday. In Benin city for example places like kaydies, omega and probably hexagon would be filled with teenagers and youths who do not have an idea what love is all about.

 However this kind magnitude exchange of gifts is enormous and still relationship keeps breaking up, hatred looms and spouses throw their vows out the window. What is the matter?  If we must have an ideal valentine's day, then we must put somethings into consideration, we must lean back and understand what love really is, and its value in our relationship.

Honestly on this note i will like to say women love gifts, present[s] and plenty beautiful things, but those little things matter in spicing up your relationship, even in plenty giving, women can still detect when you are very needy and it is a turn off for them. Give the gifts today and try as much as possible to make them want you.

I have learnt my lesson a long time ago that women should be treated as special as they are, even when sometimes they could actually be lesser, than what they pose to be. Enjoy your valentine and please share with me or comment about your awesome valentine experience. Gracias.

Ehen do u remember I talked about telling you a gist yesterday, of what will  happen today. Here goes the gist.There was so much tension in the air, we felt a bit of nostalgia and we were a bit uptight, at about 8am this morning, we were already dressed up and ready for one of the greatest courtesy visit of our lives. First of all, if u notice I have been using we, I manage the present GUS winner under the platform of Aipomage GLC season nine, 2012. Mr PASCHAL ERONMOSE OJEZELE hails from igueben local government, and being the first Edo son to attain this height with the GUS, as herculean as it may seem today carrying out our strategies, it has been very interesting managing him as a brand. Driving MYSTIQUE down to the Oba's palace was a sweet cruise and it gives me the opportunity, to brood on what to expect, while leaning back. We got there before 10am though, our appointment was slated for 12pm. We encountered and handled all the palace bureaucracy plus gave honor to those we were obliged to. However KOFYA BROWN (GUS MEMBER SEASON NINE 2012) was far away in Lagos and she had to join us, so as to bring the feminine presence needed. She is actually the sexiest diva among the 12 and she came right in time as arranged. Our intention and reason for seeing the Oba was, to ask for his royal blessings and a space for our health programs, in Edo state. You know how it works, giving back to humanity as usual should be our interest, the Oba gave us full audience, plus we had a wide press coverage. Less I forget, the Oba does not just take pictures with people, he did with us, gave us the warmest reception, amidst our youthful exuberance. If u say I am a famzer, meehn let it be, at least, maybe you have not gotten the kind of royal blessings we got. As for our upcoming programs, you have to stay glued to my blog, because this will be my information tool. Like they say pictures speak more than words, I have posted enough pictures for your view.

Tomorrow I am gonna be a bit anxious and probably a bit fidgety because we will be meeting someone that a lot of people do not get to see in their whole life time. However God help us we will be meeting him and a lot of stuffs will be expected. I am not going to say anything about this person just stay close enough u will know.
